Employment programs
The employment programs initiated by Dach überm Kopf have provided secure employment for over 100 women living below the poverty line. Employment by these programs enables these women to feed and support their families and avoid living on the streets.
The Sew- and Embroidery Center
The Sew- and Embroidery Center was founded with donations and the proceeds of the 10 year anniversary event of the St. Konrad parrish's coffee breakfast in Hohenems in Austria. The center provides employment for unemployed and uneducated women looking for an income to feed and support their families and children.
The Print Shop
Another employment program is The Print Shop. Jobs at The Print Shop were also created for unemployed an uneducated women in need of feeding and supporting their families. Dach überm Kopf initiated this program with the goal to create jobs for women living below the poverty line.
The Sacramental Bread Bakery
The Sacramental Bread Bakery provides employment for women living below the poverty line and are uneducated. Without this program it would be impossible for many uneducated women to find employment elsewhere.
