Johanna Märk

Johanna Märk is the Treasurer of the board.

Johanna was born in 1992 in Hohenems, Austria. After graduating from an early childhood development program, she was interested in working with indigent people abroad.

In August 2011, Johanna had the opportunity to travel to India together with Fr. Mag. Varghese "Georg" Thaniyath. During her 6 months stay she worked at orphanages, schools and nursing facilities.

Specifically teaching at indian schools led her to pursue a higher education in the field of special needs education in Innsbruck when she returned to Austria. Since September 2015 Johanna works as a teacher at the middle school Hasenfeld in Lustenau, Austria.

As part of the management board it is important for Johanna to stay in touch with the indigent population in India and provide support through the various programs of Dach überm Kopf.
